1970 MGB GT – 46 Years in the Same Ownership

This absolutely beautiful MGB GT was first registered on 16th December 1970 and spent its first 10 years with just two owners. On 8th March 1980, it passed into the ownership of its current gentleman owner, who has cherished and cared for the car ever since — an incredible 46 years of continuous ownership.

The car was professionally re-shelled approximately 20 years ago, with the interior also refitted to a very high standard. More recently, it has benefited from a reconditioned engine supplied and fitted by the MG Owners’ Club. The replacement engine has covered just 22,000 miles.

The car sits proudly on a set of 15-inch Minilite-style alloy wheels and is equipped with a high-torque starter motor along with a discreet security switch/immobiliser.

It comes with an extensive history file, documenting the work and maintenance carried out throughout its life. Having always been garaged and exceptionally well cared for, the car presents in lovely condition and is rust free.
